Halfway between Portland and the Oregon coast, you’ll find a whimsical little hideaway tucked away in wine country. The Vintages Trailer Resort is such a PNW treasure and we were thrilled to spend a weekend with them. There are a number of different vintage trailers you can rent and they’re all different, which makes it even more fun! Each trailer offers a unique lodging experience tailored to compliment your wine tasting and relaxing. The trailers include gourmet pour-over coffee from Caravan Coffee, luxurious robes, comfie mattresses and cruiser bikes. We chose to stay in the Neuron - Couples Edition because the soaking tub spoke to me. Matt took FOUR baths! FOUR! Glorious, I tell you.
On Saturday, we went wine tasting at Sokol Blosser and decided to join the wine club! Becoming a member at a winery has been on my ‘before I turn 40 bucket list’ so I was giddy over it. After that, we picked up some pizza in town and took it back to our trailer for a picnic outside then soaks in the tub. The trailer park is so pretty at night! TWINKLE LIGHTS! You’re close to your neighbors but everyone was so friendly we didn’t mind at all. Our place still felt private and we slept with the windows open. Heaven. There’s also a beautiful fire pit area which would be perfect for groups but we were so cozy in our trailer we stayed in again.
On Sunday morning, we slept late then packed up to drive to Pacific City for the day. The Vintages is a perfect spot to spend a night if you’re headed to the coast. We’re planning to bring friends next time! I’m also planning a girl’s weekend because wine tasting + vintage trailers with my girls? Uhhh, yes! There were multiple groups who had rented several trailers so they weren’t technically staying together but were close, which is pretty brilliant during a pandemic. We did nothing but relax for two days and it was very needed. Sometimes we play so hard we forget to rest so I was extra thankful for this slower paced weekend with my wild man. You’ll love this special place. Go ahead and add it to your list.
